On November 21 local time, a fire broke out on the lower deck of the "ONE Henry Hudson" at the Port of Los Angeles. The fire spread to multiple compartments. The vessel, with a capacity of 8,212 TEUs, was carrying over a hundred containers of goods, including lithium batteries and other dangerous goods. The incident affected the cargo of seven shipping companies that shared the vessel.
This accident led to the temporary suspension of operations at four terminals in the Port of Los Angeles, causing a sudden disruption in the cargo transportation rhythm along the US West Coast shipping routes. It is expected that the following situations will still occur.
As a company specializing in the transportation of dangerous goods, we can:
✅ We locked 50+ emergency US-West cabin (valid for 48hrs) via our direct contracts with ONE, Maersk, and Hapag-Lloyd—skip the queue others can’t bypass.
✅ Our DG team (10+ years of IATA DGR certs) pre-audits every lithium-ion battery/flammable cargo shipment to avoid compliance gaps that caused this fire.
✅ We offer 3 alternative routes to cut delays to 3 days max—no more waiting for LA Port to fully recover.
